It’s okay to feel overwhelmed. 

I know some days are tough. 

The world can be chaotic.

Everything can happen so fast. 

Everything can seem so harsh. So hopeless. So painful. 

It’s okay. 

You’re allowed to feel overwhelmed. 

You’re allowed to feel. 

You’re allowed to be. 

It’s okay. 

Don’t suppress your emotions. 

Don’t push them aside. 

Don’t try to tame them. 

It’s okay. 

Remember: 

You can’t tame the ocean. 

Sometimes waves crash. 

Sometimes storms rage. 

Sometimes you feel you are drowning. 

It’s okay. 

I know you want to feel safe. 

There is no safety in chaos,

in uncertainty,

in emotions.

It’s okay, love. 

I am here with you. 

I see you. I hear you. I feel you. 

Together, we face the storm, 

embracing the chaos of it all. 

Together, we ride the waves, 

filling the ocean with our tears.
